As with any construction project, you need to consider your role and responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety.
Pre-construction and construction phase Health and Safety plans are required and under the Construction Design & Management 2015 (CDM) the client is ultimately responsible for Health and Safety on their site.
Your project may need notifying to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Health and Safety Plans should be provided. As part of the Technical Plans service, the role of the Principal Designer is included to provide a Pre-construction Health and Safety Plan.
