I enjoy meeting potential clients and experiencing the project site first hand. At an initial meeting, we can discuss your requirements, review what could be achieved and formulate a brief.
Once appointed, a full survey is undertaken and the concept design phase begins. The Feasibility Study provides outline floor plans with build costs to see what can be achieved with your budget. Alongside this, an assessment of the existing building in terms of energy loss is presented with suggested improvements.
Following the Feasibility Study, designs can progress into planning the planning stage. This process may need additional consultants like Ecologists or Geotechnology surveys, which can all be arranged on your behalf. Planning documents and application forms are then submitted for approval.
On receipt of a planning approval, designs progress onto the technical plan stage for Building Control. Typically a Structural Engineer is required who can be arranged as part of our process
Production of a scope of works and tendering documentation for contractors to accurately price should not be underestimated. Inviting vetted contractors to meet with you, view the project first hand and quote on a fixed pricing document through to helping you chose who would be the right contractor for you.
Draw up and agree a building contract with payment schedule between you, the client, and your chosen contractors. Support through the build process with monthly site visits and valuations, snagging and Building Control sign of and certification.
